danceCOLLECTIVE is located at 323 Wall Street in Uptown Kingston and has served the surrounding dance community for over a decade. The studio was born out of the owner’s own personal passion for dance, and has grown to provide a diverse range of classes, events and workshops for all ages and levels.
danceCOLLECTIVE is an inclusive, supportive, non-competitive environment. Our mission is to expose students to a wide variety of dance and movement, helping to foster a life-long love of dance, as well as to encourage health.
Our Studio
Located on the second floor above the Lounge at BSP, the dance studio occupies 2000 square feet of space. The expansive size, full mirrors and natural light make our studio a transcendental haven a world away from the daily grind of school and work.
The professional grade dance floor is also very special – constructed of four layers of floating floor topped with a layer of imported Chinese bamboo, the studio’s surface is known for its flexibility and incredible durability, created to provide the cushion necessary to reduce impact.
Our Instructors
The instructors at danceCOLLECTIVE come from all areas of the world and all disciplines of dance. Guest instructors are often invited to run special workshops as well. We are very proud to offer such high quality instruction for our students.
Our Classes
Spanning everything from Ballet to Zumba, our classes give students a well-rounded dance education and expose them to a wide variety of movement. We welcome new ideas and new dance disciplines and look forward to expanding our roster of classes.
