	FALL SPORTS ARE FINISHED – NOW IT’S TIME TO DANCE! Have your kids finished up their fall sports and are looking for something fun to do after school? How about a dance class? We have something for everyone, including our new  Boys’ Hip Hop Fusion class (Thurs 4 – 5 pm).  We have ongoing registration so you can join anytime.REGISTER FOR FALL, WINTER, SPRING & SUMMER – ENROLLMENT OPEN: FALL SESSION: 10/3 – 12/18/2011 WINTER SESSION: 1/2 – 3/23/2012 SPRING SESSION: 3/26 – 6/22/2012 SUMMER ARTS CAMP 2012: 6/25 – 7/13, 7/16 – 8/3, 8/6 – 8/24 Class offerings & Registration Forms.
*	NEW! ALL-BOYS’ HIP HOP FUSION CLASS THURS 4-5PM We’ve gotten a lot of requests for a hip hp class especially for boys, and we’ve found the perfect instructor! The class is led by Rhammel Wheeler, who combines several different styles of dance with hip hop for an active and exciting class. Rhammel has danced for 11 years and has taught for the past 4 years locally.  More info & Registration
*	HOT SALSA NIGHTS! Salsa continues to heat up Thursday nights from 7:30-9pm, taught by Lefty’s Mambo Salsa. Lefty has over 12 years of dance experience and has been teaching for over ten years. He studied with Eddie & Maria Torres and Evelyn Ramos in New York, and has taught Salsa & Merengue through out Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam and Albany counties. Lefty teaches beginner, beg-inter & intermediate levels all in one class. You’ll learn the fundamentals of salsa dancing, open shines, turn patterns, have fun and free your body and soul! *	NEW CLASS! ADULT BEGINNERS CONTEMPORARY BALLET SAT 1:30-2:30PM This class, taught by renowned choreographer Linda Diamond, combines a modern dance warm up with classical alignment and placement. A fantastic class that leaves you feeling toned and in tune with your body. Open to men and women of all ages and levels.
*	YOUTH THEATER NEWS OZ THE MUSICAL! Students in Stages In The Arts Youth Theater are working hard rehearsing Oz The Musical, under the direction of Scott Patterson. Performances will be held Jan 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 & 22nd. The Spring session begins 2/6. Open house and registration on Monday 1/30, but you can register at any time to hold your place. Youth Theater continues in the summer as part of Stages In The Arts Summer Intensive with workshops, vocal training, improv classes, comedy & more – call us for more information and to hold your spot.
*	INTERESTED IN FIGURE SKATING? Our Director, Kitty Bateman, is a figure skating coach and has opened her schedule to include some of our dance students. “My skating program is a lot like our dance program – the mission is to introduce students to the sport and foster a life-long love. My skating program emphasizes safety and fun for all ages  in a non-competitive environment.” If you are interested in skating lessons, please contact Kitty at 914-204-7185.  Lessons are held in Saugerties at the Kiwanis Ice Arena and in Poughkeepsie at the McCann Ice Arena. *	SUMMER ARTS INTENSIVE – A PERFORMING ARTS CAMP EXPERIENCE FOR AGES 6 – 18 It’s never too early to plan for a great summer, and Stages In The Arts is planning a whopper of a summer experience for your kids! We offer  music, art, dance and theater programs with a diverse selection of offerings including audio engineering, studio art, digital photography, music lessons, vocal training, improv, comedy, music video, dance of all types and opportunities to perform! Space is limited – call us for more information and to hold your spot.
*	HOW CAN WE HELP YOU? LET US KNOW AND WIN A SERIES OF CLASSES! We are always asking the question: What do our students want to see on our schedule? When do they prefer to exercise? Do they have kids? These questions help us create the perfect dance program for our community – you! *	WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON @ BSP? In addition to our fantastic youth programming, BSP is home to a thriving art gallery, a lounge with weekly live music, our large theater which will host some wonderful shows this season (to be announced), and a NYS Certified Sound Stage for film and video production. Our space is also available to rent for your next party, wedding, Bar Mitzvah or corporate affair. Contact us for more information.
